I've joined a few groups on dA to promote my decoden stuff and since I've been watching all those youtube tutorials on charms, I thought it was time to make some! This is a better quality photo than in the other charm update, where I left the glazed charms up to dry~

Decoden Cell Phone Tutorial!!!

I finally got to making whipped cream decoden cases this week! They turned out wonderfully and I'm putting them up for sale on Etsy! The tutorial is more like a process video with notes~

Learn how to make your own decoden cell phone case! Please note that this is one of many different ways to deco your cell phone. I used 100% silicone, cabochons, beads, and pearls to deco this case.

WIP: Heart biscuits

Remember those heart biscuits that I made a while ago? I bought some shimmery puffy paint and I'm starting to decorate them! I failed at most of the writing (I'm bad at controlling the pressure of the paint) but I was trying to write 'kawaii' on some of them. These would fit more with fairy kei and sweet lolita style~

CHARMS + Sailor Moon necklace

I finally got eyepins at Michaels, therefore I can make charms! This is all that I've made since my last update. Plus the iPhone cases and brooch backings finally got forwarded to my home address. I'll be making some to sell on etsy. I made a portable work area out of board covered in wax paper and learned to leave softer polymer clay on paper to soak some of the "oilyness" off.

Sushi drying from glossy varnish, look at dA tutorials to get same result or better!

TIP: adjust paperclips into drying hooks and tape it to a ledge/shelf, then hang charms!

These still need to be baked! I used a cupcake mold and depending on how you use it, it can either make really big cupcakes or smaller ones~ (plus failed fish for sushi in the background)

This week, I got a Sailor Moon necklace from Kuma Crafts (SM necklaces out of stock) and Catscratch (which has it as a charm/earrings too). They were worth the price and are very beautiful~

My Manga Collection! (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ・‥…━━━★ ﾋﾟｷｭｰﾝ！

Today I have no updates besides sharing my manga collection! It's pathetic compared to online friends, but I have been going on garagesalejapan and Ebay to look for used manga to catch up on older series. My librarything has a complete list of titles~

This is the most organized that it's been since ever...
PS It's mostly shojo and licensed manga

(I have another shelf for artbooks and one for American comics, oversized print versions of online webcomics, doujinshi, and few volumes of Japanese monthly manga magazines)

Quickie Etsy Shop Review - PixieKhloe + Teahouse

I haven't done much deco lately... Instead, I've been waiting for supplies for the black iphone case that I have yet to deco! >_< Today my supplies from PixieKhloe arrived in the mail today! (lol that was after I dashed to the post office to send my overdue swap-bot swaps... XD)

lol of course the mailman would handle with love after seeing that sticker!

Cute business card!!! Their etsy has better web design, while the website is easier to navigate for cabochons~

PROS:

• fast shipping to USA (store located in California) aka I got my package within 6 days of my order
• offers decoden kits with My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, Barbie, Bettie Boop, Chococat, etc.
• big variety of cabochons
• good prices on rhinestones & pearls

CONS:

• make sure to read the description closely because the picture shows more than offered (this is the same with every etsy supplier though)
• has a lot of unlabeled B-grade cabochons, so you have to check carefully if you're ordering for a commission
• cabochons is just one section so you should use the search bar for a specific kind of cabochon (Hello Kitty, bow, rose, etc...)
